A new chapter in connecting knowledge, research, and the economy

Alma Mater Europaea University has opened a new chapter in connecting the research, academic, and economic sectors with the establishment of the Center for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer.

The Center represents a modern hub of knowledge, creativity, and entrepreneurship, whose purpose is to encourage the development of innovative solutions that have tangible effects on society and the environment. Its mission is a clear commitment to effectively transfer research achievements into practice and to create solutions that contribute to the development of the economy, the community, and a sustainable society.

Knowledge that creates the future

The world is changing faster than ever before. Artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and green technologies are no longer the future, but the present we are already living. Yet technology by itself does not bring progress; progress is created by people who know how to connect knowledge with real challenges and use it for the good of society. At Alma Mater, we believe and have always advocated that knowledge must become the driver of progress, not just an academic category, and that together we must create knowledge that has impact, effect, and meaning for the economy, for society, and for people.

Collaboration with innovation partners

The Center for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer serves as a space for collaboration among researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and institutions that share a common vision and expertise in connecting knowledge with real-world challenges. Through support for innovation projects, mentoring, and links with industry, it enables research potential to grow into concrete entrepreneurial stories. At launch, the Center is connecting with leading innovation actors, who shared their views on the importance of collaboration and innovation.

Mag. Matej Rus, Venture Factory: Breakthrough innovations emerge where an entrepreneurial mindset meets knowledge and technology transfer. Entrepreneurship is a key driver of sustainable development, as it links innovation, research, and the responsible use of resources to create solutions that generate shared value for both the economy and society.

Dorijan MaršičInkubator: Inkubator is a modern entrepreneurial and development center that has been connecting innovative individuals, startups, and companies from various sectors for more than three decades. With comprehensive support, ranging from mentoring and consulting to training and industry connections, it fosters creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial growth.
